Dina originates from Forest Hills in Queens. New York. But she changed her location to Dix Hills on Long Island shortly before finishing her junior year. She is the younger sister of Gregory, and has an older brother, named Evan. She started her career in the field of entertainment at nine and was modeling. The beginning of her acting career was with The Neighborhood Playhouse, New York. She was a student of Sanford Meisner's methods along with Ron Stetson for three years. Others who have received this training are Sandra Bullock, Michael Douglas, Jeff Goldblum, Leslie Nielsen, Diane Keaton, and many other actors. Her first role was in the soap opera Beverly Hills, 90210, in which she had to relocate from Los Angeles to Los Angeles. Then, she got the role of the main character in the film Johnny Mnemonic, in which she did almost all of her own stunts and established herself as an athletic actress. With the help of her agent, who represents Matt LeBlanc she scored a appearance as a guest on Friends.
